Governor Kim has emphasized the potential of the Indonesian market since his inauguration. He believes that the value of entering the market is high because the population is 280 million, the fourth largest in the world, and there is a high preference for Korean products.


The Indonesia Chungbuk Excellent Product Exhibition was held at the Aryaduta Hotel in Jakarta for two days, the 5th and 6th.


40 companies in the province, including Dongshin Polychem Co., Ltd., Servo Industry Co., Ltd., HPN, and David Aqua System, participated and met with local buyers and conducted export consultations.



This Indonesian product exhibition, co-hosted with the Chungbuk regional headquarters of the Korea International Trade Association, resulted in sales of USD 150 million for 200 buyer consultations, USD 20.4 million for 100 export contracts, and USD 5.8 million for 13 on-site export MOUs signed. reaped


In particular, Entomo Co., Ltd., an agricultural corporation, succeeded in signing an export contract worth $1.5 million on the 6th, four years after attempting to export to Indonesia.


Entomo, a youth social enterprise that makes livestock feed using lanterns, signed an export MOU on this day and plans to export samples worth $3,000 in August.


On this day, Governor Kim Young-hwan held an opening ribbon-cutting ceremony with invited guests including the honorary president of the Jakarta branch of the World Korean Association.


Next, he went around each of the 40 booths of participating companies in the province, listening to explanations about export products and encouraging entrepreneurs.



At the opening ceremony, Governor Kim Young-hwan said, "This Chungbuk Excellent Product Exhibition in Indonesia, which has the largest economy in ASEAN, is a representative trade and commerce project of North Chungcheong Province, held for the 17th time since last year." He added, "Products accepted and preferred in Indonesia will be used by 2 billion Muslims around the world in the future." “There is a high possibility that it will appeal to the 700 million ASEAN market, so we will expand support for companies entering Indonesia in the future,” he said.
